Additional Call for Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training under the 2023 Project Period (2023-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000126491) and the Startup Higher Education Consortium (2023-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000121630)

Applications are now open for Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training for academic staff of our university within the scope of the 2023 Project Period (2023-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000126491) and the Startup Higher Education Consortium (2023-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000121630) (Additional Call).

Academic staff members of our university who wish to participate in Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training can apply via the application portal https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/ between May 5 and May 20, 2025, within the scope of the Erasmus+ 2023 Project Year. Aclick here.docxpplicants must log in to the application portal using their e-Government credentials and access the call titled “Kayseri University 2023 Project Period and Startup Higher Education Consortium Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training Additional Call.”

The number of participants who will benefit from the grant allocated to our institution under the 2023 Project Period Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training depends on the destination country, available budget, travel costs, and duration of mobility. All applications will be ranked according to their scores, and 3 participants will be selected for mobility. Priority will be given to academic staff, departments, and units that have not previously benefited from this activity. The number of participants may increase or decrease depending on the available budget.

⚠️ Uploading an invitation letter from the host institution at the time of application is not mandatory for a valid application. However, applicants who upload a signed and stamped acceptance letter from the host institution during application will be awarded extra points according to the Scoring Table provided in the call text. (Mobility is only allowed to the institution from which an invitation is received.)

⚠️ Applicants who do not submit a language proficiency score will not be considered for evaluation.

Academic units without a bilateral agreement may also benefit from the Staff Mobility for Training activity. Applicants from such units must submit the invitation letter from the host institution to the Erasmus Institutional Coordinator by June 10, 2025, at the latest. Otherwise, their mobility will be considered invalid. Selected candidates must complete their mobility activity by July 27, 2025. Applicants who fail to submit their invitation letter will forfeit their right, and substitute candidates will be placed instead.

The duration of the training activity must be a minimum of 2 working days and a maximum of 5 working days. For staff training mobility, the activity duration must consist of at least 2 consecutive working days, excluding travel. Grant support will be provided for a maximum of 5 working days per mobility, in proportion to the grant allocated to our institution. • Language Proficiency Certificate (ÜDS, KPDS, YÖKDİL, YDS)

• Disability Certificate or Document for Martyr/Veteran Relatives (if applicable)

• Letter of Invitation (if available)

• Graduate Degree Diploma or Equivalency Certificate (for those who completed their graduate education abroad)

NOTE: Applications will be considered invalid if any of the above documents are missing.

A printed copy of the Application Form must be signed by the relevant supervisor in your department/unit. After obtaining the necessary signatures, the form and its attachments must be uploaded online via https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/. Applications submitted without completing this step will be considered invalid.

Important Dates:

• May 5 – 20, 2025: Quotas for Erasmus Staff Mobility for Training and required application documents will be announced on the website of the Erasmus Coordination Office under the Directorate of International Relations. Applicants who wish to participate in the program must apply during this period and submit their complete application files to the relevant Department Erasmus Coordinators.

• May 22, 2025: The score rankings of the applicants will be announced on the website of the International Relations Office. Applicants who wish to appeal their scores may submit a written petition to the Erasmus Coordination Office on this date.

Attention: Department Erasmus Coordinators Department Erasmus Coordinators are required to review the applications collected by Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 16:00, and forward them with an official cover letter to the relevant Department Chair.

Important Notes:

• The number of staff members who will benefit from the grant will be determined based on the budget allocated to our university by the National Agency.

• The total number of participants (with or without grant) is limited to the quotas defined in the existing bilateral agreements.
