Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa and Head of the International Relations Office, Lecturer Seyit Murat Yesbek, attended the APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) Conference and Exhibition held in Hong Kong between 23–27 February 2026.

Kayseri University was represented at the international event, organized with the support of the Turkish National Agency, with the aim of strengthening academic collaborations and increasing the university’s international visibility within the scope of its internationalization activities in higher education. Our university took part in the Study in Türkiye Pavilion organized by the Turkish National Agency, where it was represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa and Head of the International Relations Office, Lecturer Seyit Murat Yesbek.

Throughout the event, bilateral meetings were held not only with existing partner universities but also with numerous higher education institutions from different countries, and new cooperation opportunities were explored. Our stand was visited by İlker Astarcı, President of the Turkish National Agency; Kerim Sercan Evcin, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Trade Attaché Dinçer Tatlıoğlu; and many international participants.

Within the scope of the APAIE International Event, Kayseri University held meetings with Woosong University, Myongji University, Nawaloka College of Higher Studies, and Walailak University, and bilateral cooperation protocols were signed.
