ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS TO ASSOCIATE DEGREE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
(2025-2026 Academic Year)
CANDIDATES WHO WILL APPLY:
1. Candidates who will apply must be under 26 (twenty-six) years old.
2. Applicants who are foreign nationals may apply, provided that they are either in their final year of secondary education (high school) or have already graduated, on the condition that they have not studied or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye. This restriction does not apply to:
Foreign nationals who have completed their entire high school education at embassy schools or international private educational institutions listed in the MOBİS system; and
Foreign nationals who have come to Türkiye within the framework of projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education or the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
3. Applicants who were Turkish citizens by birth but subsequently lost Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior, as well as those who hold a Blue Card issued upon request to individuals who have lost Turkish citizenship, may apply provided that they have not studied or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). (Applicants are advised to review Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 regarding overseas student admission quotas.)
4. Applicants who were originally foreign nationals but later acquired Turkish citizenship, as well as those holding dual citizenship under these circumstances, may apply provided that they have not studied or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC.
5. Applicants who are Turkish citizens and have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a country other than the TRNC may apply. This also includes applicants who completed their entire secondary education at Turkish schools established abroad under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education (MEB), excluding those in the TRNC.
6. Applicants who are citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) may apply, provided that they have not studied or graduated from high schools in Türkiye or from high schools in the TRNC that implement the Turkish curriculum, and that they possess:
A GCE A-Level qualification,
A TR-YÖS score, or
Other qualifications specified in the application and admission directives of higher education institutions approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS:
1. The evaluation, admission, and placement of applicants applying under Kayseri University’s international student quotas shall be carried out by the International Student Admission Commission, taking into consideration the opinions of the relevant academic units.
2. Applicants who are granted the right to enroll at the University will be issued an Official Letter of Acceptance by Kayseri University.
3. The evaluation and placement of applicants are at the sole discretion of Kayseri University. The University reserves the right to fill or not fill the announced quotas and may announce additional quotas if deemed necessary. Meeting the application requirements does not guarantee admission to the University. Applications that do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be evaluated, and any registrations made on the basis of ineligible applications will be cancelled.
4. For undergraduate programs, at least two-thirds (2/3) of the available quotas will be filled based on TR-YÖS scores, while the remaining one-third (1/3) will be allocated according to the examination scores specified in the annex. If the quotas reserved for TR-YÖS applicants are not fully utilized, the remaining places may be filled using the examination scores listed in the annex.
For associate degree programs, placements will be made according to the examination scores specified in the annex. If the quotas allocated for associate degree programs are not fully filled, the remaining places may be offered to applicants whose high school diploma grade reflects a minimum success rate of 50%.
5. Applicants applying to the existing undergraduate and associate degree programs of Kayseri University are provided with up to ten (10) program preferences during the online application process. Placement is based on academic merit and examination scores. Any increase or decrease in the number of preferences, as well as amendments to the accepted examination types and score requirements listed in the annex, shall be determined by the University Senate upon the recommendation of the International Student Admission Commission.
