Registration Dates, Required Documents For Application and Language of Instruction

REGISTRATION DATES AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION:

a) The original high school diploma or a notarized or officially certified copy, along with a Turkish translation certified by a sworn translator and notary.

b) The original high school transcript or a notarized or officially certified copy, along with a Turkish translation certified by a sworn translator and notary.

c) The original exam result document,

d) The original passport and its Turkish translation certified by a sworn translator and notary.

e) A bank receipt showing that the semester tuition fee for those eligible to enroll in the first year has been paid

f) For the Students of “International Turkish Scholarship Recipients’’ (YTB): Valid health insurance (SGK).

g) A “student visa’’ obtained by candidates coming from outside Türkiye from their home country or the nearest Turkish consulate, or by candidates already in Türkiye from the Provincial Directorate of Security.

h) The original of an internationally recognized Foreign Language - Turkish proficiency certificate, certified by the Turkish consulate in the candidate’s home country.

i) A residence certificate for candidates residing in Türkiye.

j) The Foreign National Identification Number for candidates residing in Türkiye. k) Two (2) passport-sized photos (4.5 x 6.0 cm), (taken within the last 6 months, from the front, and clearly identifying the candidate)

IMPORTANT NOTES ON REGISTRATION

1. The documents required for final registration, as listed above, must be submitted to the Kayseri University Directorate of Student Affairs within the specified registration dates.

2. Applications not made within the specified period in the announcement will not be considered.

3. An unauthorized copy or photocopy of the documents requested for registration is not accepted.

4. If the documents are incomplete, registration will not be processed.

5. Candidates who do not complete their registration within the specified dates will forfeit any claims to their admission rights.

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE PREPARATORY EDUCATION

The language of education at our University is Turkish. At the end of the preparatory class education, those whose Turkish proficiency level is at least C1 level start education.

TURKISH PROFICIENCY LEVELS

1- The Turkish proficiency levels are shown below:

A1 (Beginner Level) : Cannot Start Studying

A2 (Elementary Level) : Cannot Start Studying

B1 (Intermediate Level) : Cannot Start Studying

B2 (Upper Intermediate Level) : Cannot Start Studying

C1 (Advanced Level) : Can Start Studying

2- Those, who submit their Turkish Proficiency Certificate at the level C1 issued by the State Universities or Yunus Emre Institute or the C1 level Turkish Proficiency Certificate from the Turkish Proficiency Exam conducted by DILMER in the last two years, to the Student Affairs Department before the beginning of the academic year, start their educational activities in the departments they are registered.

3- Turkish language proficiency is insufficient for those who are required to register for the Turkish preparatory class opened by DILMER and pay the fee determined by the university senate.

4- The language education period is not counted from the education period of the department where the student will enroll.

5-Those, who have made their final registration to the higher education program where candidates whose Turkish level is below C1 level, are considered to be on leave for one year to increase their Turkish levels to the C1 level. An additional 1-year period is given as an additional period for unsuccessful students. Students who fail at the end of the 2nd year are dismissed from the university.
